Stay away from Yogurt and Cheese!

Most people in the World are now opening their eyes to the fact that meat is not good for them but tell them your vegan and one of the first things I have people say to me is “I couldn’t go without cheese” or “I could maybe try it but I’d still eat cheese, I love my cheese” or under some variation of them being addicted to this animal secretion product. People also find it mind boggling that I don’t use yogurt in my smoothies, like it couldn’t be made any other way.  Heck, I used to be there right along side everyone else. I loved my cheese and I went through a fair share of it a week, and yogurt and Greek yogurt were staples for me when I was lazy and didn’t want to cook. I was a vegetarian that basically was one because I knew it was better but I didn’t educate myself on the harm taking place, I just felt better knowing that no one was dying for me. Then I opened my eyes to what was actually taking place with these industries and I said good bye to my ‘precious cheese’ and yogurt right away.


Yogurt is a fermented milk product produced by bacterial fermentation of milk. The bacteria used to make yogurt are known as “yogurt cultures”. Fermentation of lactose by these bacteria produces lactic acid, which acts on milk protein to give yogurt its texture and its characteristic tang. Worldwide, cow’s milk, the protein of which is mainly casein, is most commonly used to make yogurt. The biggest problem we have here is that in any dairy product one of the main ingredients is going to be casein. People don’t realize that casein is the worlds number one CANCER GROWTH PROMOTER!!!! and do you see how many ads they have out there for milk, yogurt, cheese, ice cream etc? hmmm and cancer rates only keep getting worse and worse? Wait, and  how much money does the cancer industry make now? The Cancer industry is a 95.5 BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY. This is all sadly connected folks. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again they don’t want you to get healthy. They only want your money and to put you on all these harmful treatments and no where does anyone think, huh maybe, just maybe we change the nutrition and get rid of these high cancer causing  foods? I find it unreal that doctors are actually not taught very much about nutrition. Its all about the prescriptions and medications etc. If more doctors took an interest in the whole foods plant based diet and how it can stop and reverse so many illnesses we would save so many lives. This is ground breaking information we have here and yet they are trying to shut us up? I wonder why.


The process of making yogurt, the milk is first heated to about 80 °C (176 °F) to kill any undesirable bacteria and to denature the milk proteins so that they set together rather than form curds. The milk is then cooled to about 45 °C (112 °F). The bacterial culture is added, and the temperature of 45 °C is maintained for 4 to 7 hours to allow fermentation. The thing people must be aware of is that denaturing the fat molecules shrinks the fat molecules down to a size so it can seep into your bloodstream and when its in your bloodstream your body treats it like a virus. It sets off your immune system and causes untold damages to your body. This happens to yogurt, milk, cheese and any dairy product because they have to denature to kill any harmful bacteria. Now with cheese its a very similar process and also adds the process of, cultering- brings milk in the cheese vat to a temperature required to promote the growth of the bacteria that feed on lactose and thus ferment the lactose into lactic acid, coagulation- rennet is added to cause the casein to precipitate, draining- as with many foods the presence of water and the bacteria in it encourages decomposition, most of the water is then removed from the cheese milk, scalding- if making Cheddar (or many other hard cheeses) the curd is cut into small cubes and the temperature is raised to around 39 °C (102 °F) to ‘scald’ the curd particles, and milk ripening- with softer cheese it is carefully transferred to cheese hoops and the whey is allowed to drain from the curd by gravity, generally overnight. The cheese curds are then removed from the hoops to be brined and immersed in a saturated salt solution. Again casein, whey and other harmful ingredients on the body are very predominant in cheese. Think of cheese as a very compressed block of casein, essentially you are eating a very high amount of cancer growth promoting cheese, it is also very high in sodium as well. The salt absorption stops bacteria growing, so in order to kill the bacteria the sodium is needed and unfortunately the sodium is highly addictive as well.


With yogurt you get many different varieties such as regular flavored, plain, Greek, low fat, zero fat etc. The low fat craze has taken over. People don’t realize what is being added to these low fat foods.  Talking at Stanford University last year, Dr Attia explained: ‘The low-fat, organic, raspberry, peach, apricot yogurt has almost no fruit in it. ‘It doesn’t even have enough berry to color the yogurt, so they add coloring, flavor and sugar. ‘So you’ve got a low-fat product, that’s high in calories. Dr Attia says one of the worst offenders is high fructose corn syrup, a processed sweetener and preservative, first used by food manufacturers in the late Seventies. We have all heard for a while now to stay away from high fructose corn syrup. It contains contaminants including mercury that are not yet regulated or measured by the FDA. Independant medical and nutrition expects DO NOT support the use of high fructose corn syrup in our diets despite what the industry wants you to think. Not to mention the acid whey that is in Greek yogurt is extremely bad for the environment. Acid whey is a thin and runny liquid, it is highly acidic and can’t be poured into the ground as its illegal. If it is poured into the waterway or sewer it has the potential to deplete water oxygen levels which can kills thousands of fish. Now the large 2 billions dollar Greek yogurt industry is still trying to find a good way to dispose of the toxic product that in New York city alone produces over 66 million gallons a year. That’s a lot to find a way to dispose of properly. Doesn’t it just make more sense to stop producing something that is so harmful to our bodies and the environment.


With 75% of the population that is now lactose intolerant isn’t this something we should all be questioning?  isn’t it interesting that so many people have problems digesting dairy. That is because we as human beings carry absolutely zero need for milk or dairy after weaning, we are actually the only species that drinks milk from another species and drinks it after weaning in general. Our mothers breast milk is the only milk we should need and we would never ever think of com-modifying and exploiting our mothers to turn their milk into cheese or yogurt, so why do it to another species? Especially when its doing so many damages internally, externally and ethically. We are not naturally meant to digest animal products so when these products go into our body (for this article we are talking about yogurt, cheese and dairy but the same effects happen with meat) they are to acidic for our bodies to handle. Our bodies are very smart and know how to fight against this and to neutralize the acidity but in order to do so it actually has to take to calcium phosphate that your bones our made of, you use the phosphate to neutralize the acidity and you pee out the calcium actually leaving you calcium deficient. Hence why a large portion of the population get bone fractures and the countries that eat the typical western diet have the highest rates of osteoporosis. Time to really question what we are told and do research for ourselves in regards to our health.

Now for the ethical stance behind milk, yogurt, cheese and any other dairy product. The violent cruelty that these beautiful gorgeous cows face on a daily basis is unthinkable. The reality for these animals is that they will probably never see day light or sunshine or smell fresh air. They are dragged, kicked, punched, beat with steal bars etc all by men who have no concept of compassion. It takes a very different kind of person to work in a factory farm and not be affected and a lot of these people are violent and abusive in their natural state and they take it out on the beautiful animals. These cows then get forcefully put onto what the farmers call a rape rack. Yup a RAPE RACK! and they get rapped with artificial insemination all to be impregnated so they can carry their child for 9 months (like we do) and have it viciously ripped away and killed for veal meat. All so we can turn her precious milk that was meant for her baby to cheese and yogurt all because as a society we are to selfish and greedy to see how unbelievably wrong that is and can’t give up this sick addiction. When these cows are done being rapped to the point where they are useless they are then sent to the slaughter house to fill out there awful fate as meat.

There are so many issues that lie with milk and dairy products and people are completed blinded to it. Dairy is extremely bad for the body and most doctors that understand nutrition and health will recommend their patients remove all dairy from their diets. As humans we have this amazing capacity to be able to think and feel for ourselves and yet our society is so easily brainwashed because their is so much mixed information out there. when you look at the information as a whole and you really take the ethical stance into consideration and open your eyes and your hearts you really start to have a shift and want to re educate yourself on as much as possible for the care of yourself, your family, your planet and the animals.
